Health And Safety Advisor

Your role as a Health and Safety Manager: We are seeking a knowledgeable Health and Safety Specialist to be responsible for a large resort with both retail and residential accommodation. You will be the only H&S person present on site and work closely with other senior stakeholders.
You will develop and implement best practice and will ensure our business complies with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and guidance in relation to employment and service provision.

Your duties and responsibilities as a Health and Safety Manager Ensuring we risk manage safety and take corrective action to prevent safety incidents Actively taking part in review of operation and maintenance activities to ensure we are following policy and procedure with regards to safety management Communication with the Managing Director on any issues that require immediate attention of corrective action Conducting regular audits of the business in key areas to ensure adequate safety measures are in place and are being followed accordingly Conducting monthly incident review meetings, which includes reporting to key stakeholders on key findings through in-depth analysis of data; improvement actions are noted and actioned accordingly Implementing and managing an effective safety management process for the business to thrive on and to ensure the culture of health and safety is embedded positively To be successful in your role, you should have the following skills and experience: It is imperative to this role that you hold NEBOSH Previous experience of working as a Health and Safety Manager You will have knowledge of health and Safety Management best working practices, policies and procedures If you would like to discuss this role further please contact Jade Whitmore on 07306626969 / Send me alerts about jobs like this.
