Laing O'Rourke owns Australia's fourth largest plant and equipment hire company called Select Plant Australia.About the opportunityThe Victorian Government's North East Link Program is Victoria's biggest road project that will connect the Eastern Freeway to the M80 Ring Road with new twin tunnels, significantly improving local traffic conditions.About the roleWe are currently seeking a Health And Safety Advisor to join us on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. You will support the implementation of the project's Health & Safety Management Plan.Key responsibilitiesProactively deal with HSE concerns by engaging with the people performing the task or activity.Supervise and mentor accident investigations.Conduct risk assessment workshops.Ensure HSE standards are understood and upheld.Monitor and conduct regular HSE governance checks.Conduct investigations.Facilitate toolbox meetings and inductions.About youCertificate IV in OHS or working toward one with prior tier 1 experience preferable.Knowledge of reports and systems with the ability to utilise technology.ICAM, RRTWC, RIW preferred.Hands-on experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issues.We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
