We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health & Injury Management Advisor to join our dynamic and hardworking Workplace Health & Safety team on a full-time basis.
This opportunity can be based in our Hobart Office or Parramatta Creek Processing Facility.
The role With a focus on continuous learning and improvement, you will facilitate the day-to-day duties of Return-To-Work and Injury Management across Huon's sites.
Reporting to the Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will: Be the first point of contact for injuries and Workers Compensation queries.
Advise, coach, and proactively support injured employees and stakeholders on RTW processes whilst promoting best practice injury management support.
Ensure timely reporting and management of injuries and legislative compliance.
Promote Huon's 'Maintaining a Healthy Workforce Framework' across the organisation.
Drive and embed best practice across injury management and influence positive business and individual outcomes.
About you You are passionate about the safety of our people, do what it takes to achieve great outcomes, and have: A relevant tertiary, diploma, or degree qualification in RTW or related discipline.
Worked within an injury management focused role for at least two years.
Experience coaching stakeholders on evidence-based injury management.
Experience with claims performance reporting and digital record keeping.
Broad experience with occupational injury management programs and claims management.
The ability to liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
A current driver's licence, and the willingness and ability to travel intrastate as required.
