RAC operates in a culturally appropriate, sensitive, community-controlled environment that maintains a holistic approach to service provision and emphasises the importance of family and community.RAC has been a resource, service provider and enabler of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Greater Shepparton region since 1980. RAC is a cooperative working to provide a range of supports and services including:Health and wellbeingPositive aging and disability servicesCommunity servicesAsset and infrastructure servicesCorporate servicesRAC has an annual budget of $19 million and a workforce of approximately 230 people. RAC is a significant employer and economic contributor to the region and plays a high profile leadership role as one of the larger Aboriginal organisations in Australia. RAC is committed to ensuring the Aboriginal people in the Goulburn Valley have certainty of access to community-controlled services.Role Purpose: Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Health Administration/Program Co-Ordinator will lead amultidisciplinary team of administration and program delivery staff.This role emphasizes risk management, system development, and service coordination, with a key focuson ensuring Rumbalara Health Service meets all funding and reporting compliance requirements in atimely mannerEmployment Conditions: All staff are required to sign a confidentiality agreement on appointment to the organisationProbationary / qualifying periods apply to all new positionsAll staff are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct of the Co-operative (available to view)All staff are required to follow the policies and procedures to the department and the Co-operative (manuals are available to view)A commitment to equal opportunity and Occupational Health and Safety principles and practices is requiredSalary packaging is available to permanent part time and full-time staffTenure of positions at Rumbalara will be tied to existing contracted funding arrangementsAbout YouTo excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:• Qualifications and registrations: Relevant administration qualification.• Understanding of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and factors affecting theirhealth.• Strong administration, communication, and multitasking skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Ability to prioritize, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing priorities.• Experience in managing a multidisciplinary team.What We Offer:• Competitive pay and conditions based on the ACCHS Award Administrative grade 5, level 1 (paid aboveaward).• Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.• Opportunities for additional incentives, which may include Christmas bonus days, recognition of NAIDOCday, periodic adjustments aligned with CPI increases, and the possibility of a relocation allowance whenapplicable.• Professional development opportunities and support to help you grow in your career.• Access to a free and confidential Employment Assistance Program and more.• Provision of a laptop and mobile phone to support your work where applicable.• Fleet cars to carry out daily tasks where applicable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
