Classification - ASO2 - Administrative Services Officer L2 - $ 58,709 to $63,154 Employment Part time - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team as an Administration Officer , where you will be responsible for:
Providing a front-line reception service to the department. Ensuring that enquiries regarding patient welfare are dealt with promptly by directing enquiries to relevant nursing or medical staff. Patients follow up appointments are booked using sound knowledge and judgment. Appointment booking processes are followed in line with Corporate Administration Services guidelines. Providing an administrative assistant support service to the Medical Unit Head or Nurse Unit Manager and other staff as required. Receive and process referrals following Corporate Administration Service guidelines. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues. Previous administrative / clerical experience. Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service to senior staff, including in the drafting and editing of general correspondence, minutes, and reports. Ability to work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst managing demanding and sometimes competing priorities. Provide an administration and advisory service to management and staff at all levels while maintaining integrity and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive issues. Experience with the use of Windows and Microsoft Office products, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. What WCHN Can Offer You Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
