This opportunity will see you lead a large project that will bring significant change to our client's business.TasWaterTasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is an Alliance between TasWater, UGL, CPB and WSP Australia.The TasWater CDO will deliver:Major water infrastructure projects across Tasmania as part of the TasWater $1.1 billion capital works programTimely, cost effective, and quality capital works solutions for all stakeholdersImproved safety outcomesCapacity and capability to transition the program back to TasWater post completionThe necessary framework for emergent projectsAbout the RoleTasWater CDO have a requirement for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.What will your day look like in this role:Monitor and interpret relevant HSE legislation, policies and regulations in order to provide direction and advice to projects which meet statutory and corporate objectives and responsibilities.Where required, assess safety in design requirements and provide input for constructability reviews.Facilitate risk workshops in order to effectively plan work in accordance with the project schedule.Ensure that UGL's HSE objectives and goals are set and attained at the project level including tracking KPIs for the Business.Support the HSE Manager to execute the Project Audit program; including maintaining good documentation records for easy of execution regarding third party audits and maintaining client prequalification status.The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
