About the role: We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. This role will involve routine testing in the Toxicology laboratory, over a variety of shifts. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Perform manual and automated diagnostic testing Specimen storage and retrieval Equipment maintenance and operation Maintenance of records Assist with stock control Maintain confidentiality of our customers About you: To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
A Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent Previous laboratory experience, preferably with clinical chemistry analysers, is desirable Experience in toxicology techniques and knowledge of the AS/NS4308 is also desirable Flexibility with hours A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills Awareness of Work Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures All appointments are made subject to the successful applicant having full immunity against Hepatitis B, providing evidence of such and a current satisfactory National Police Certificate.
