$49p/h + superannuation + salary sacrifice Part-time (38 hours/fortnight) Fixed-term position About the role: We are currently seeking a Clinician to join our team at headspace Emerald. They will provide effective screening, assessment, targeted, goal and outcome focused interventions for headspace Emerald young people.
What will a typical day look like? Promote and adhere to youth-friendly practices.Monitor and conduct young people's focused clinical assessments and ascertain care plans as required.Deliver 1:1 counselling, psychoeducation and skills building to the young people, in-centre and at outreach locations.Deliver evidence-based early/brief intervention therapy, including group interventions and problem solving with young people and their families.Work collaboratively with the young person and their families to develop individual treatment plans that are person-centered and directed by the young person as much as possible.Provide an inclusive practice that values the significance of family and friends in a young person's life.Mandatory Requirements: Approved tertiary level qualification in an allied health discipline, including counselling, social work, psychology (clinical counselling and 4+2 pathway or 5+1 pathway), mental health nursing and occupational therapy.Registration or membership with APHRA or AASW.Who we are: Our truly local team of professionals have worked with people in Central Queensland for over 40 years to support them in living their best life.
