This is a once-in-a-career opportunity for an enthusiastic Head Sleep Scientist (Grade 4) to join our team and spearhead the development of this ground breaking service. The successful applicant will help to deliver a Sleep Medicine Service that demonstrates Northern Health's values of Safe, Kind and Together.
Key Responsibilities 
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Sleep Laboratory, including the CPAP Program and Sleep Medicine Clinics.
• Provide senior scientific leadership within the Sleep Medicine Service.
• Oversee the development and operation of an effective quality assurance program, including achieving and maintaining ASA/NATA accreditation.
• Contribute to the research and professional development programs within the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and assist in the supervision of staff and students performing project work.
• Develop and implement computer software, instrumentation and testing methodologies, including evaluating and deploying new and innovative sleep diagnostic techniques.
• Provide input to the structure and function of Sleep Medicine Clinics and ensure the safe and efficient integration of testing and clinical follow-up.
•  Assist with budget submission and ensure financial responsibility and accountability within the Sleep Laboratory
