Our journey has been one of continuous growth and development, driven by our unwavering dedication to providing a holistic, faith-based education.Holy Cross invites dedicated and experienced Heads of Year to join our innovative and dynamic team in preparing agile thinkers equipped with the skills to thrive in a changing world.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a culture of collaboration within the year level that enhances student wellbeing and leads to improved outcomes for all students.Lead the development and implementation of year level programmes to improve students' mental health and wellbeing.Develop year level teachers' understanding of the College Student Behaviour Management Policy and Positive Behaviour Policies.Build the capacity of subject teachers to manage challenging behaviours and foster positive relationships with their students.Support Learning Area Leaders and classroom teachers to manage behavioural issues occurring within their classes.Collaborate with the College Nurse, Social Worker, and Psychologist to support students with significant behavioural and/or health and wellbeing issues.Support House Representatives in the preparation and planning of extended HTG activities.Develop the leadership capacity of student LIFE Leaders within the year level.Collaborate with Inter-relationship Leaders to ensure effective transition programmes from one year to the next.Provide opportunities for students to understand, articulate, and celebrate the faith story of the College and, in particular, those related to the year level.Why Join Holy CrossAs our College continues to grow, we are actively seeking dedicated educators to join us in shaping the next generation of change-makers.
