The team is a small team initially requiring the individual to be a doer and a leader but our expectations are that this team will quickly grow. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to not only lead the Tailored team but to take a key leadership role in shaping the Tailored lending Agenda at Athena.We're looking for an experienced Leader who can also assess credit, to join our Team.Who are we looking for?You have a minimum of 8-10 years Residential credit assessment experience in assessing self-employed applications and leading individuals undertaking assessmentsYou have experience assessing complex loans, e.g. commercial, trust and company loans, reading and understanding company and trust financialsYou currently hold a Delegated Lending AuthorityYou have confidence talking with customers and brokers to deliver decision outcomesYou are known by several broker networksYou have the ability to work within policy and make recommendations for improvementYou have experience managing a pipeline of assessment applicationsYou have experience working in a fast paced environmentYou are driven and self-motivated to exceed targets and strive for excellenceYou have the ability build teams and recruit the right peopleThe RoleDeliver and oversee and end to end service for consumers, from the assessment of the original application to fulfilment stage.Communicating with customers and brokers to workshop applications where required and provide application decision outcomes.Assessment of self-employed applications and applications to non-individual entities.Manage a pipeline of applications taking the customer and broker on a seamless journey, working hand in hand with our Customer Services team, from Application through to Unconditional Approval;Ensure all risk and compliance standards are maintained;Support your colleagues and contribute to the performance of your Team;Act as a leader in the company.
