Responsibilities
Lead the identification, development and uplift of strategic suppliers in Australia.
Advise the Executive and Board on AIC, sovereign supply chain, and strategic capability.
Develop and expand a team of diverse professionals.
Represent ASC at industry events to support ASC's social license.
Collaborate with program leads and AUKUS partners on AIC and strategic capability requirements.
Communicate program AIC requirements and social license to suppliers.
Evaluate AIC proposals and pursue increased outcomes.
Monitor supplier AIC plans post contract award.
Develop Australian industry capability intelligence to identify opportunities.
Create a roadmap for industry and strategic capabilities development.
Lead industry engagement events with various stakeholders.
Build relationships with key organisations to support ASC programs.
About You
Tertiary qualification in commerce, supply chain or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years relevant business experience and knowledge of the Australian defence industry landscape, including government policies and initiatives.
Experience with strategic business planning, commercial and program management, and risk management.
Experience in strategic supply chain capability development and uplift Active and influential team player with a high degree of resilience and adaptability Highly developed negotiation, communication and customer relations skills.
Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer requirements.
Ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills Strategic thinking and ability to influence on all levels Change champion, fostering continuous improvement.
Willing to challenge conventional thinking.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a NV1 level.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
