Join us as we continue to redefine health, fitness, and wellness across multiple industries!THE ROLEThis position will lead all matters related to Supply Chain, with a particular focus on Demand Planning. The primary responsibilities include managing end-to-end planning processes and driving robust decision-making through weekly Forecast Review meetings and the monthly S&OP process.The key outcomes of the role are to minimise stock-out risks, manage MRP cash flow effectively, fulfill Sales Orders on time, and empower the Supply Planner to meet lead times. Additionally, the role is responsible for the development, continuous improvement, and ongoing maintenance of key Supply Chain processes, as well as coordinating logistics with supply chain partners to ensure an optimal supply chain across all product types and channels within the S&OP framework.TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIESDemand PlanningOwn, drive, and improve the weekly Forecast Review process.Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons as part of the demand planning function.Review historical sales trends, analyse forecast accuracy, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models as required.Establish inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine forecast models based on updated sales and marketing assumptions.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand demand forecast drivers.Utilise a collaborative and consensus-based approach to ensure current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.Closely coordinate and communicate production plans with Supply Planning.Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting tool (if available).Own, drive, and continuously improve the monthly S&OP process.Operations ProcessSupport the Supply Planner in executing the monthly MRP cycle to align sales requirements with supply and manage cash flow implications.Analyse MRP cash flow in collaboration with Finance and implement relevant action plans.Governance and ControlEnsure robust controls and governance within the Supply Chain by:Reviewing and maintaining key processes.Developing and implementing new value-adding processes as needed.Tracking demand forecast accuracy.Managing cost control for MRP cash flow.LeadershipContribute to the development of short- and long-term company-wide supply chain and operational objectives, overseeing the implementation of relevant business plans.Effectively communicate key information to the team, including KPIs, business strategy, and expectations around leadership and behaviour.Upskill current and new employees to build in-house capability within the area of expertise. (Initially managing 1 direct report.)ReportingLead the preparation of all supply chain presentations and analytical KPI reporting, including monthly management reports.Conduct weekly evaluations of potential short-term stock-out risks.Monitor and report on weekly forecast accuracy.Prepare monthly medium-range (6–12 months) production forecasts and MRP cash flow analyses.Standardise KPI definitions and reporting with Muscle Nation's supply chain partners.Develop and manage additional reporting requirements as directed by management.QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of supply chain experience in an FMCG company.Demand planning experience preferred.WHY YOU WILL LOVE MUSCLE NATIONAt Muscle Nation, you'll become part of an energetic and passionate team who are motivated by growth, innovation, and success.
