We are seeking a proactive and experienced Head of Studies and Compliance to join our Senior Leadership Team. This role is integral to ensuring sustained compliance, maintaining operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across all academic programs.
Key Responsibilities Leadership and Independence: Work independently, reporting directly to the CEO, providing a parallel layer of assurance for compliance oversight. Oversee overall compliance with ASQA standards, the ESOS Act, and the National Code. Act as the primary liaison with ASQA for all regulatory activities.Compliance Management: Ensure sustained compliance with ASQA standards, the ESOS Act, and the National Code. Ensure the compliance schedule is adhered to, all tasks are completed on time, and activities are audited for accuracy and alignment with regulatory requirements. Identify and address compliance concerns promptly, ensuring the organisation meets regulatory standards at all times. Ensure all policies and procedures are up-to-date, accurate, and effectively implemented.Collaboration with Consultants: Work closely with external consultants to align organisational practices with industry best standards and address audit findings effectively.Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports to the CEO, highlighting progress, key activities, and any areas of concern. Proactively address identified issues to ensure ongoing adherence to compliance requirements.Team Management: Oversee and manage the Compliance Manager and Course Coordinator, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with academic and compliance objectives.Curriculum and Quality Assurance: Lead the development, review, and enhancement of curriculum and learning materials to ensure quality and relevance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance teaching quality and student outcomes.Risk and Resource Management: Implement robust risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks. Audit academic resources, facilities, and staffing to ensure adequacy for course delivery.Operational Oversight: Manage academic timetables, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure the smooth delivery of programs. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to align operations with compliance standards.About You To excel in this role, you will bring:
