You could be one of our 2900 committed team members who are up to the challenge. About the role Sitting within our Corporate Services function, our new Head of Strategy and Architecture will be a key leader responsible for shaping and executing V/line's long-term technology vision and strategy.
As part of the IT leadership team, the successful candidate will align technology infrastructure with business goals, guiding the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
Collaboration with executives and business leaders is essential to shape technology solutions that enhance agility, innovation, and efficiency.
This role also steers digital transformation initiatives, mentors a team of architects, and ensures the technology architecture supports sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
About you Being comfortable in fast-paced environments, you'll be a natural leader who can inspire, motivate, and build trust with their team.
Possessing the ability to foster collaboration, empower employees, and drive the vision forward.
Our ideal candidate will also possess the following: Must have 10+ years of experience in senior IT leadership roles with a focus on architecture and strategy.Proven experience in enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and strategic technology planning.Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.Strong leadership skills with a track record of building, developing, and managing high-performing teams.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of governance frameworks such as TOGAF or similar, highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, highly desirable.Demonstrated experience within Government sector, highly desirable.Remuneration for this position will be commensurate to the successful candidate's aligned experience and skillset to this position.
