Haileybury's sporting program is one of the largest in the country with more than 3,700 students for Years 5–12 competing each week. About the RoleThe Head of Sport (One Haileybury) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and cultural development of the sports program across all of Haileybury's Melbourne campuses.

About YouThis role provides the opportunity for a dynamic individual who can foster a high-performing sporting culture, drive efficiencies, and ensure the smooth coordination of sporting activities and events. To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated strategic leadership; Develop and implement a comprehensive sports strategy aligned with the School's vision, mission and magenta principles. As well as leading effective change management practices to support implementation of new initiatives.Significant experience with operational management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the Sport department, including financial management, scheduling, facility management, transport and representing Haileybury as part of the Associated Public Schools (APS) and Associated Grammar Schools of Victoria (AGSV).Strong people management and leadership, to attract and develop talented team members, ensuring compliance and appropriate staff utilisation.Proven program development to lead a diverse and inclusive sports program that promotes participation, skill development, and healthy competition.Why work for us?Competitive salary, in line with skills and experienceExcellent on-site facilities, grounds, technology and working environmentFour weeks of Annual Leave plus paid leave from Christmas to the first working day in JanuaryVarious financial benefits to employees through discount programs and salary packaging options.Want to find out more?To view the position description, please click on the attachment below.
