CHRISTWAY COLLEGE KINGSTON Head of Sport, January 2025 Christway College Kingston is currently seeking innovative, passionate and engaging applicants for a Head of Sport teacher position for January 2025.
This position is ongoing, time fraction negotiable. We welcome and encourage experienced teachers to apply. The ability to teach Health Education and Outdoor Education will also be an advantage.
A salary package consistent with the applicant's level of experience and expertise will be negotiated.
Key Selection Criteria Be a qualified teacher and hold current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), as well as suitable qualifications and current expertise to teach in these subject areas. Demonstrate and articulate an active Christian faith (church involvement). A knowledge and understanding of the concepts in the relevant teaching areas. A willingness to grow and develop as a teacher through reflection on their practice, taking on feedback and seeking personal and professional learning opportunities. Excellent written, presentation, teaching organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills. A willingness to work collaboratively and contribute to the Christian ethos and Christian community of the College, including contributing to extra-curricular activities (for example: school camps / mission trips, staff retreat etc).
