Reporting to the Principal and as a member of the College Leadership Team, the Head of Secondary School will lead a progressive vision for the direction and development of the Senior School.
The role will provide leadership to enrich wellbeing and pastoral care of students from years 6-12, ensuring their experience is rewarding and of the highest quality to help them thrive beyond St Columba.
Key responsibilities include: Leading day-to-day management and coordination of the Secondary school campus; Making a significant contribution to the overall strategic direction of the school as part of the College Leadership team; Inspiring and modelling a culture of respect, care, compassion, collaboration and inclusion; Providing supportive leadership to enable professional growth and development of Secondary School staff; Serving as a key communicator to enable positive relationships with the broad College community including staff, parents, and students.
Applications are sought from proven and credible secondary/senior years educational leaders with appropriate qualifications and a vision and passion for the wellbeing and education of young adults.
You will demonstrate the versatility, warmth, diplomacy, professionalism, drive, energy and innovative thinking necessary for a senior leadership role of this nature.
A genuine alignment with and ability to nurture the Anglican and Catholic ethos and values of the College is essential.
