About the role Calderwood is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Christian leader to lead the Secondary School into its next phase of growth.
This important role on the Senior Executive Team collaborates with the Principal, Head of Junior School, and Leaders of Teacher Innovation and Learning to lead a Christian community in a love for learning.
The role is responsible for providing a clear and compelling vision for the Secondary School and implementing initiatives to enhance the strategic goals of the school.
The Head of Secondary promotes cooperative and positive relationships with staff, parents, students, and the wider community.
About our school Calderwood Christian School is a non-denominational, Christian day-school seeking to offer excellence in education within the context of a genuine biblical framework.
The school is situated in the beautiful growth corridor of the Calderwood Valley, at the foot of the Illawarra escarpment.
Set amidst stunning rural land, the school boasts large open spaces, experienced teachers, and modern facilities.

The ideal candidate The successful applicant will: Maintain a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and actively participate in a local protestant church.Demonstrate experience and expertise in leading staff, students, and parents.Provide a clear and strategic vision for the Secondary School and pursue it optimistically.Lead a positive school culture, identifying and responding to the needs of the community.Demonstrate expert communication and conflict resolution skills.Included with their CV and cover letter, applicants should provide a written description of experience and expertise for each of the Key Selection Criteria (refer to the position description for more details, no more than 200 words per criteria).
