ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Head of Science, you will lead and support our Science department, guiding our team of dedicated tutors and shaping an exceptional academic experience for students. This role offers flexibility, with the option to work part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (38 hours/week), including teaching hours, team meetings, and opportunities for remote work.
Responsibilities: Part-Time Head of Science (20 hours/week) Teaching Hours: 4 hours per week.Focus: Resource maintenance and term preparation.Key Tasks:Provide leadership and support to the Science team, addressing queries and guiding best practices.Maintain and update educational resources to align with current curriculum needs.Participate in team meetings with a consistent and regular schedule.Full-Time Head of Science (38 hours/week) Teaching Hours: 8 hours per week.Focus: Growth of science programs, student enrolment expansion, development of new STEM resources and entrepreneurship.Key Tasks:Lead and mentor the Science team, driving growth in student enrolments and establishing the program as a premier choice for science tutoring.Foster an entrepreneurial mindset to develop new STEM programs and drive engagement.Design and manage STEM programs, including holiday courses, to offer additional learning opportunities.Collaborate in strategy discussions, team meetings, and contribute to department goals.ABOUT YOU: You should be:
