This Head of Sales position will lead the strategic direction and execution of the sales function for the company's portfolio. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, optimising pricing strategies, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and clinicians.The position will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business objectives and focusing on delivering value to customers and patients.Key responsibilities include overseeing sales operations, building commercial acumen within the team, and leading high-stakes negotiations in a price-sensitive market. As a strategic partner to other business functions, this role will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operational teams to enhance the company's presence in the healthcare market.The position will monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and implement data-driven strategies to optimise sales processes and improve overall efficiency.You will work closely with internal support teams - Finance, Technical Service, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence Manager, and Manufacturing to achieve sales revenues monthly and plan to achieve given objectives.You will accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly product inventory in partnership with Supply Chain and Marketing and take a leadership role in handling enquiries, responding to tenders, and ensuring the organisation complies with submissions according to given deadlines.You will establish professional contact and good rapport with customers and key opinion leaders, clinical, procurement, and technical services.You will collaborate with your direct leader, the General Manager, and Marketing to establish and control budgets for sales promotion, sponsorship, and trade show expenses and develop high awareness for competitive intelligence in the market.You will support the use of and ensure teams proficiency in utilising the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED?
Proven track record of success in national sales senior management, within the medical device industry.Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management and marketing within the healthcare industry (either Pharmaceuticals or Medical Devices) – highly desirable.Proven ability to develop training material and deliver effective training.Strategic and analytical thinker with a professional and positive disposition.Proven ability in supporting change management across an organisation.Demonstrated experience in decision making role in operations or quality management.Strong commercial and clinical acumen.Interested?
