The suitable candidate will be a qualified natural team player who can add significant value to this highly dynamic team.Job DescriptionDoka Australiaoffers an exciting opportunity asHead of Sales who will be responsible for the management and development of the revenue and profitability in the formwork business. In this role, the Head of Saleswill be responsible for generating a pipeline of business and the leadership of a team of individuals in sales and project management ensuring that all targets are met and all market potentials are exploited. The Head of Salesis part of the Country Leadership Team and reports to the Managing Responsibilities include:Lead and manage the SalesTeam including planning, training and optimizationDevelop and implement the Salesstrategy in collaboration with managementDevelop and manage all nominated projects and ensure all deadlines are metEnsure that the Sales forecasts are accurate and achievedProvide recommendations to the MD on product requirements, marketing and pricing structuresCommunicate client updates, competitor activity and market trends locally and regionallyEnsure that all enquiries received by the team and themselves are actioned immediately and that the highest level of customer service is provided in a professional mannerCommunicate effectively and collaborate with engineering, finance and operations and ensure smooth and close collaboration between the departmentsEnsure efficient and compliant projects and contract managementAct as a role model both internally and externally, displaying a high standard of professionalism and expertiseQualificationsWe are looking for a dynamic andagile person with strong leadership skills and the ability to demonstrateproactive approaches to problem-solving. In addition, we look forthe following qualifications:10+ years' Sales/Engineering experience in System Formwork IndustryQualificationin Civil Engineering, Business Management or equivalentLarge Scale Projects Management experience and solid knowledgeExperience in leading, coaching and managing a sales teamSales management skills especially in negotiation and closing dealsGood financial understanding/business acumen (Margin Drivers, Discount Policy, Pricing Strategies etc)Project & Key Account Management as well as job site experienceProven Leadership Experience: Steering with KPI's, enabling & empowering reports, inspiring others, Management by objectivesProactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication and feedback skillsConceptual and analytical thinking, commercial awareness, customer orientation, creativity and assertivenessAdditional InformationIf you would like to find out more about this exciting opportunity, please contact Belinda Madani today at Let's form the future together.
