Head of Health Safety, Wellbeing and Injury Management
. This pivotal role will drive our commitment to creating a safe and healthy workplace, aligning with our organizational goals and values. The Head of HSWIM will lead a team of HSWIM Partners and oversee the strategic and operational aspects of Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and Injury Management across Possability Group.Key Responsibilities:Strengthen WHS Risk Management Strategy:Develop and implement WHS strategies and action plans.Ensure alignment with ISO 45001 and 45003 standards.Enhance Safety Leadership & Culture:Represent Possability in claims reviews and drive safety culture improvements.Design Injury Prevention Programs:Create and execute strategic injury reduction plans with measurable metrics.Lead Injury Management and Return to Work:Oversee the workers' compensation portfolio and lead initiatives to improve injury management and return-to-work outcomes.Support and mentor the Injury Management team, ensuring high-quality practices.Promote Workplace Wellbeing:Develop and monitor the annual Wellbeing Plan.Lead wellbeing initiatives and advocate for mental health literacy and resilience.Provide Advice and Support:Advise on HSWIM issues, risk management, and legislative compliance.Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and represent Possability in relevant forums.Skills/Qualifications/Experience:Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, or Injury Management.Minimum 8 years of experience in HSWIM, including people leadership.Experience in Disability, Child Welfare, Family Services, or Aged Care sectors.Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning, and financial management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Visio, and SharePoint.Ability to travel interstate as required.Probity Requirements:Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check, WWCC, and unrestricted driver's license.Up-to-date COVID vaccinations.Why Apply?This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the safety and wellbeing of our organization.
