Exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as Head of Risk and Compliance based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane We are seeking a leader to oversee Uniti Group's risk management, compliance, and business continuity frameworks, along with responsibility for the Group's insurance. This role involves close collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Board to ensure effective delivery of corporate compliance and risk management activities.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of Uniti Group's risk management frameworkProvide guidance and support to risk owners to ensure the effectiveness of internal controlsManage operational risk registers and ensure integration into day-to-day operations and strategiesCoordinate internal audit requirementsConduct quarterly reviews and reporting of risk registers for executive leadership and board engagement.Maintain and manage insurance coverage across Uniti GroupLiaise with insurance brokers for annual insurance program renewalsManage claims and potential claims under Uniti Group's insurance policiesProvide advice on ad hoc queries related to insurance coverDevelop and implement a compliance management and monitoring frameworkPerform compliance assessments to ensure adherence to obligationsOversee quality and assurance activities, including policy and procedure development and maintenanceMonitor, manage, and report on compliance obligations, including legislative requirements and internal policiesProvide training to employees on compliance and risk-related mattersLiaise with regulatory bodies on compliance mattersProvide direction and support for preparing and maintaining business continuity plansEnsure integration of plans into day-to-day operations and strategiesAbout you: The ideal person for this role will have/be:
