The Role Based in Launceston, The Head of Risk and Resilience (HRR) will lead a small team and work with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead, co-ordinate and improve the design and implementation of the St Lukes Risk, Compliance, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Frameworks.
In this role, you will be accountable to the CRO for the effectiveness and proper operation of risk, compliance, and crisis management strategies, processes, and internal control environments. You will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and robust approach to governance and crisis resilience throughout the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our high standards and ensuring our organization is well-prepared for any challenges.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree qualification in a discipline(s) relevant to business, commerce, or law. Substantial senior management level experience in managing the development and implementation of risk, compliance and operational resilience frameworks and strategies within an APRA regulated industry. Demonstrated highly advanced ability to develop high performing teams within a constructive culture. Demonstrated highly advanced ability to create and promote a culture in which employees feel able to report incidents and breaches. Demonstrated highly advanced ability to articulate/convey complex concepts and put forward compelling arguments and rationales to all levels and types of audiences.
