About the roleDue to our current Head of Remuneration heading into retirement, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Remuneration professional to join the team.
In the role of Head of Remuneration you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and ongoing management of Cbus' remuneration strategies and frameworks, variable pay plans, employee data integrity, analysis and reporting.
This role reports to the Chief People Officer and will frequently interact with the Board, Group Executives and other senior stakeholders.
This role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of remuneration and people data, analytics and reporting.
In your role you will develop, implement, and maintain remuneration frameworks, policies, and processes to support the Fund's strategic goals and values and ensure frameworks are equitable, competitive, and aligned with industry benchmarks and best practices.
You will provide expert, consultative remuneration advice to P&C Business Partners, Group Executives, People Leaders, P&C team members, and Payroll to address complex queries and ensure strategic alignment acting as a trusted advisor for all remuneration related matters.
You will manage external salary survey submissions and analyse benchmarking data to ensure the Fund's pay structures remain competitive and equitable and lead the planning, execution, and governance of the annual remuneration review process, including salary adjustments, and communication strategies.
A key part of your role will be to manage all aspects of the Variable Pay Program (VPP), including maintaining documentation, participation oversight and calculation of payments, and application of deferrals, ensuring the VPP aligns with Fund objectives and complies with legal and governance requirements.
You will have proven experience presenting at board level and be able to prepare and present detailed remuneration reports, recommendations, and updates to the Board and relevant committees, ensuring alignment with governance requirements.
You will oversee remuneration governance activities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including superannuation, taxation, and industry regulations.
Your role will be key in the development and delivery of key P&C reporting requirements, including regular people and performance metrics, Annual Report data, and regulatory compliance reporting.
To be successfulYou will have proven experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of remuneration frameworks and reward programs with strong exposure to VPP programs, ideally within a financial services environment.
You will be comfortable working independently and be the go-to person for all remuneration activity.
