As the Head of Quality & Research you are responsible for supporting ACCPA's policy and advocacy functions and managing the team of Research & Quality policy advisors.Your key responsibilities will include:Managing ACCPA's research initiatives regarding the aged care sector and issues relevant to care outcomes for people in aged care.Developing reports based on the analysis of data and member survey results, providing key insights regarding sector and older person priorities, issues, and opportunities.Developing and overseeing the development of high-quality submissions, positions, and other papers/presentations, relating to the aged care interface with healthcare, disability, and digital health.Representing ACCPA and member views at various forums and meetings.Facilitating workshops, seminars, forums and committees as required.Preparing proactive member communications via email blasts, the ACCPA website and social media accounts in conjunction with the ACCPA Communications team.Coordinating, initiating or undertaking member research and analysis in relation to key policy priorities.Delivering organisational objectives and actively contributing to member satisfaction with ACCPA.About You:You have genuine passion for aged care and relevant experience in research and policy development in aged care, healthcare, or the care sector. It is important that you have a deep understanding of current issues of ageing, provisions of aged care services and retirement village industries.You will also possess:Relevant graduate and/or post graduate tertiary qualifications in a social policy, research, or other relevant field.Ability to translate priorities, issues, and opportunities into useful outputs.Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively advise, influence and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Strong time management skills and ability to identify and risk manage possible barriers.Good coaching, facilitation, and consultancy skills with abilities in influencing change, particularly as an external agent.Awareness of and compliance with WHS requirements.Strong work ethic and work history that would evidence commitment to ACCPA values and a genuine passion for aged care.We require federal police check as an essential selection component for this role, please consider this requirement when submitting your application.How to apply: Click the "Apply" button and submit with your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
