About the role:
Are you an experienced program leader with a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering high-impact initiatives?
We are seeking a Head of Program Delivery to take charge of executing key programs and projects within our organisation.
This pivotal role involves managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that every program achieves its objectives efficiently and effectively.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, including the Group Leadership Team, Executive Leadership Team, Board and Committee Members, and employees, driving alignment across the organisation.
Additionally, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our project management capabilities and overseeing quarterly prioritization processes to align with our strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Coordination: Lead the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to drive successful program delivery.
Program Prioritisation: Oversee the quarterly prioritisation process, collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team to align projects with strategic goals.
Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across all levels to understand needs, manage expectations, and communicate progress.
Budget & Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, monitor budgets, and optimize program expenditures.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and keep projects on track.
Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment for cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on program performance using KPIs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Quality Assurance: Uphold quality standards and oversee deliverables to align with business expectations.
Change Management: Address changes in scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring transparent communication and stakeholder buy-in.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for program accountability, reporting, and knowledge-sharing.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in project or program management, ideally with multiple projects managed concurrently.
Industry Knowledge: Financial Services experience preferred.
Methodologies: Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and other PM methodologies.
Tools: Experienced with MS Project, Trello, Jira, or similar tools.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field; certifications like Scrum Master preferred.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to lead cross-functional teams and liaise with diverse stakeholders effectively.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and drive high-quality outcomes.
