Head of Product roles can mean many things depending on the size and complexity of the organisation.
Here you'll have a seat at the table as part of the SLT and work closely with their Board and investors. You will have complete ownership of the Product roadmap, spot commercial opportunities and support ambitious growth.
It's a newly created role, in a business that is absolutely product-led. They're mid-sized, have experienced phenomenal growth over the past 5 years, and yet, still have exciting challenges to solve.

So who would I be working for? LocalAgentFinder (LAF). They are a high-growth business that allows property owners to make empowered and informed agent comparison decisions.
This is a two-sided marketplace that goes well beyond the comparison website where they started. There is a really good story to tell on the problems this business solves for vendors and estate agents alike, with great CX being at the forefront of everything they do.
They know their customers, their partners and they're adding value.
They've made a recent acquisition and they also have their sights set on many other growth opportunities. So there's a lot to go at.
More about the role? The role is many things; first up it's understanding the business and their offering, really getting your feet under the table. That's a given.

You will help to shape business priorities and the delivery of initiatives that materially impact the value to customers and the business. You will elevate and advance the LAF assets while creating a step change movement in funnel and CX performance and growth while continuing to delight their customers.
Who do I need to be? From a leadership perspective, you're able to represent the voice of the customer (homeowners and agents) to shape the CX, products, proposition and more to discover and deliver new and better ways to drive increasing value to customers. At the same time you will continue to build and develop class-leading product capability and team that continues to build growth into the future.
You'll need to know how to navigate and influence across teams/functions of the business (up and down). Be a voice at the table, as part of the SLT, and manage up to C-Level and Board.
Bring a big picture and strategic brain with a lot of curiosity and a real desire to understand the business, its customers, the "why" behind decision-making and drive positive change.
You'll also thrive in an environment that champions the 'roll-up your sleeves' approach and willingness to be on the tools and you'll know when to dip in and out. You're looking for the opportunity to have a material impact in a mid-sized business that's growing - actually you love the visibility, accountability and challenge that it brings.
All of the above would mean, at some stage, you've been in a leadership role within a scaling tech/product-led organisation. Whether that's series A/B, lead up to IPO, or involvement in M&A.
Marketplace experience would be a nice plus, but not essential.
