As a Head of Product in Telstra Health, you play an influential leadership role in the agile structure, setting the future vision, strategy, and direction of a set of specific products or services within Telstra Health's broader product portfolio.
You maximise the value the products or service of your portfolio delivers to customers and the business.
You are accountable for the profitability of the products within your portfolio.
You will be responsible for our Data and Insights based products which include Billing and Performance products, Clinical Content and databases, and international products and services based on data and insights.
You inspire and empower the delivery teams to achieve ambitious but realistic objectives.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to think strategically and have a customer-centric mindset, to act as the bridge between the business, technology, and customers to deliver market-leading products.
What's the opportunity?

As a Head of Product in Telstra Health, you play an influential leadership role in the agile structure, setting the future vision, strategy, and direction of a set of specific products or services within Telstra Health's broader product portfolio.

You are accountable for the profitability of the products within your portfolio.
You will be responsible for our Data and Insights based products both domestically and internationally which include clinical content and databases, billing and performance products, and population health management.
You inspire and empower the delivery teams to achieve ambitious but realistic objectives.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to think strategically and have a customer-centric mindset, to act as the bridge between the business, technology, and customers to deliver market-leading products.
Key responsibilities:

Accountable for the full product lifecycle including design, development, launch, embed, support, and measure.
Develop and communicate the global Strategy and Vision for a set of products/services.
Identify new and emerging opportunities in product economics to accelerate and address gaps in the product portfolio.
Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and service providers to ensure alignment with business objectives and agreed metrics.
Lead and mentor a team to foster a collaborative and innovative environment, promoting continuous improvement and effective communication.
Maintain knowledge of market trends through active thought leadership to iterate product strategy, direct and design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and major product/feature updates.
Lead engagement with customers for feedback and translate insights toward continuous product improvement.
Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial policies.

Skills and experience:

Demonstrable experience in leading cross-functional teams to ideate, design, and launch innovative products that captivate customers and create market disruption.
Experience in managing vendor partners and their performance.
Strong proficiency in utilising analytics and customer insights to inform strategic decisions, optimise product performance, and maximise feature value.
Proven ability to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive movements, identifying growth opportunities and positioning the product as a market leader.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and implement effective solutions to drive product success.
Two years' + experience working with tier one organisations and/or Government.
A relevant Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree.
