Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) is seeking applications for a Head of Primary Learning to be responsible for supporting our system and school leaders to deliver high-quality learning outcomes across our Primary schools.
This is a new senior leadership position in our structure that will join us in transforming our services to schools.
Key Responsibilities: Foster a supportive and inclusive culture for the Primary Learning team and their diverse stakeholders.
Ensure that CSPD's strong Catholic identity and principles of Catholic social teaching are integrated into Primary Learning services.
Lead the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum frameworks, resources and professional development to support effective teaching and learning within CSPD Primary schools.
Facilitate consistent and cohesive educational practices and initiatives across CSPD Primary schools to support continuous improvement and excellence in student learning outcomes.
Lead the implementation of the new curriculum, supporting Principals and other key leaders to deliver this in the context of explicit learning and teaching practices.
Lead educational initiatives that enhance student engagement and overall learning experiences in Primary schools, monitoring data on student progress and collaborating to implement targeted interventions that foster continuous improvement in student performance.
Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated senior leadership experience in an educational system or school environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience leading people-focused change in an education environment, with a track record of improving outcomes.
Capacity and desire to contribute to the ethos and strategic intent of Catholic schools Parramatta Diocese.
Demonstrated depth of knowledge of pedagogy and contemporary educational practice.
Ability to monitor student and school progress using data and collaborate to build targeted interventions to foster continuous improvement in student performance.
Strong knowledge of Catholic education principles and a commitment to integrating these values into teaching practices and school culture.
