The King's College is a Pre-kindergarten to Year 12 coeducational school with a current enrolment of 900 students, situated in Wellard in the southern corridor of the metropolitan area.
The College is growing in size, and a new Primary School opened in Term 1, 2024.
The College is a ministry of The King's Chapel and has been offering quality education in the area since 1986.
The College's vision is to provide a Christian education and train its students to "be exceptional".

This requires a growth mindset from students that is supported by their teachers.

About this role Applicants are sought from qualified and experienced individuals with a demonstrated commitment to a Christian and Biblical worldview.

Strategic Thinking and Change Management: Capacity for strategic thinking and the ability to implement change within a primary school environment.The candidate should demonstrate experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes, as well as fostering innovation and continuous improvement.4.
Staff Development and Mentoring Skills: Strong skills in developing staff through coaching and mentoring, evidenced by successful experiences in supporting professional growth and development among teaching staff.The candidate should demonstrate the ability to mentor, support, and challenge staff to continually strive for improvement, fostering a supportive and collegial professional environment.5.
Communication: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels, from senior leadership to frontline staff.Showing a calm and thoughtful approach to resolving conflicts between colleagues, students, and the wider college community.Demonstrating an ability to maintain positive relationships over time, both professionally and personally, which is essential for building trust and rapport.6.
