Key Responsibilities Human Resources (HR)Recruitment: Develop and oversee recruitment strategies, partnering with managers to attract and select candidates who align with our skills and culture requirements.Onboarding & Induction: Lead comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new hires smoothly into our culture, systems, and workflows, fostering a welcoming experience.Performance Management: Establish a structured framework for performance reviews, goal-setting, and staff development, ensuring constructive feedback and career growth.Professional Development: Identify training needs, create development opportunities, and implement mentorship and educational programs across all staff levels.Policies & Procedures: Ensure our HR policies are up-to-date, compliant, and accessible to all staff, promoting best practices across the team.Resource Planning and AllocationResource Assessment: Collaborate with practice managers and senior leadership to anticipate resourcing needs based on client demand, project timelines, and workload forecasts.Resource Allocation: Strategically allocate resources firm-wide to optimise project staffing, balancing workload and expertise to meet client needs effectively.Resource Optimisation: Implement best practices to maximise resource efficiency and minimise downtime, keeping project teams adequately supported without overburdening members.Learning and DevelopmentTraining Needs Analysis: Partner with senior lawyers and practice leaders to assess training needs across jurisdictions, ensuring our programs are consistent, practical, and relevant.Content Development: Work with subject matter experts to create high-quality, jurisdiction-specific training materials for both internal and external use.Delivery and Coordination: Coordinate and deliver training sessions, leveraging various formats (in-person, online, self-paced) to meet diverse learning preferences and schedules.General OperationsOperational Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to drive operational efficiencies and streamline processes across all functions.Process Development & Documentation: Develop and document clear, accessible processes for operational activities, ensuring consistency and understanding across the firm.Awareness & Transparency: Foster transparency around processes and project-specific requirements, promoting effective communication and understanding among staff.Cross-functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration between departments and teams to ensure unified goals, especially for projects with unique needs or high-impact clients.Account and Business DevelopmentClient Relationship Management: Support senior leadership and account managers in maintaining and growing key client relationships, focusing on client satisfaction and engagement.Business Development Support: Collaborate with account teams to identify growth opportunities, present client solutions, and pursue new business prospects.Market and Client Analysis: Conduct or coordinate research on market trends and client insights to help inform business development strategy.Culture of Innovation: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the business.Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that drive efficiency and enhance service.Client and Partner Feedback: Engage partners and clients for feedback to refine services and elevate client experiences.Industry and Technology Research: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep Settle Easy at the forefront of legal services.Service Development: Work with business development to conceptualize and launch new service offerings, expanding our market reach.Data-Driven Decisions: Implement data-driven processes to guide continuous improvement and track success.KPI Tracking: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of improvement initiatives, reporting progress to senior management.Key Position Requirements Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
