Head of People Strategy and Enablement

role will act as a commercially minded strategic leader that supports the CEO and Owner/Founder with people led business delivery, through intelligent people focused initiatives that respond to the now and continue to drive the McNab Group into the future.Contributing to group success will be achieved in this role by:Thinking like an operational leader when it comes to performance objectives, but being a people architect to the strategies that support this and ensuring delivery through peopleUnderstanding our DNA, people, and how we have performed so well, and bringing innovative people ideas specific to our culture, needs, and goals, so we can continue striving for excellence and growth of our peopleThinking ahead and acting as a coach and mentor to the team of close to 20 HR/Recruitment/L&D professionals, who will execute on the groundDriving technological advancements and performance metrics within the people space, so we can look for areas of opportunity and respond quicklyActing as a change manager, influencing outcomes by asking the right questions early and knowing appropriate actions to ensure large work groups are on page quickly and can move forwardWhat does this mean for you and what will we look for:You may not come from a traditional HR background, perhaps you were an operational leader first with a passion for performance through peopleYou will be able to demonstrate how past people strategies have contributed to business objectives and performance results, and how you have shown creativity and innovation to address specific needs – this part excites you and challenges you, not worries youRegardless of your background, you bring strong people skills and a solid foundation in general people focused practices, which will help you guide and support the team while also protecting the business from risk.You are a confident and inspiring leader in line with our values – you don't just delegate/manage, you inspire through meaningful conversation and create buy in.
