Together with our valued employees, customers, and partners, we will continue to set sustainable standards for our industry and for our future.About the role:We have an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic Head of People, Culture and Compliance to join Bio Gro working from our Mount Gambier Office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. We are seeking a solution-oriented candidate who has contemporary knowledge of culture, safety, wellbeing practices and relevant experience to effectively deliver key accountabilities. The role will focus on shaping Bio Gro's culture and overall employee experience, drive continuous improvement in people and safety performance across the organisation, whilst building and nurturing a cohesive culture and ensuring a thriving environment for everyone.Key Accountabilities:HR Operations: Oversee HR functions including compliance with employment legislation, remuneration, recruitment and selection, leadership development and lead workforce planning and development.Strategic HR: Partner with the Senior Leadership group to provide high quality guidance, advice, and information on industrial legislation and employment law, employee engagement, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition and retention.Safety and Compliance: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Safety and Compliance Function including policy and procedures, investigations, audits, work health and safety program and return to work. Positively influence the brand of safety and wellbeing.Risk Management: Lead, advise, maintain and report on Bio Gro's risk management, compliance and business continuity frameworks. Oversee the delivery of corporate compliance and risk management activities, including leadership of Bio Gro's quality assurance functions.About you:• Formal qualifications / at least 5+ years' experience in relevant fields highly desirable.• Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to implement strategies to support Bio Gro's long term growth.• Maintain a positive work culture while promoting values that align with Bio Gro's Mission, Vision and Values.• Have a solid knowledge of employee regulations and HR practices including health and safety, compliance, RTW and industrial awards.• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that enable you to build and maintain relationships at all levels.• Ability to be professional, resourceful, and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.• Experience with developing Safety, Environmental and Compliance plans desirable.• Proven ability to plan, design and implement risk management processes for the organisation.How to apply:To apply please submit your application addressing the above criteria and include your cover letter, resume and 2 current references prior to November 8, 2024.
