We collaborate with managers and members of the University Executive, as well as teachers and students, researchers, support and professional staff, and other members of the University community to harness our digital potential.About the roleThe Head of Partnering brings extensive and specialist knowledge of their area of expertise and an understanding of the complexities of the higher education environment.
The role is recognised as a principal specialist in digital and infrastructure partnering and leads and motivates a team of professionals to collaborate and deliver outstanding advice and services to our customers.The role reports to Director, Engagement & Experience and provides advice, generally limited to their area of expertise, on issues of a strategic nature relating to fostering collaboration and alignment with senior leaders and infrastructure and digital division.As the Head of Partnering, you will:Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide guidance and support to team members in delivering strategic initiatives, ensuring their growth and development.Develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with Deakin's goals and future needs.
Establish and implement frameworks for effective partnership.
Lead initiatives requiring collaboration across multiple internal stakeholders.
Promote a culture of cooperation to problem-solving, resource sharing, and decision-making.Partner with senior leaders to understand their priorities and ensure alignment with the university's strategic direction.
Ensure regular and effective communication addressing concerns, managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed about ongoing initiatives and projects.Lead the development and execution of effective partnering and advisory services that reflect the university's culture and values, promoting collaboration, inclusivity, and excellence in all internal initiatives.
