Head of Operations , you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational excellence of our venues across Australia and New Zealand, and event delivery teams across Asia Pacific, ensuring seamless event execution and unparalleled service delivery. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be an instrumental part of the senior leadership team, shaping the company's future direction and contributing to strategic decision-making. This role can be Sydney or Melbourne based in a hybrid work environment and includes regular travel to venues within the Cliftons network.Your responsibilities include:Leading a team of dedicated venue managers and operational staff, inspiring and empowering them to deliver remarkable experiences. You'll set high standards for operational efficiency, consistency, and service quality while fostering a culture of collaboration.Assume ownership of multiple corporate venues within our portfolio, overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring their maintenance and readiness to host a diverse range of business events– both big and small.Using your strategic approach to evaluate and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency and resource utilisation, driving productivity without comprising service excellence.Collaborating across the organisation, providing thought partnership and support on cross-functional project development and deliveryCultivating strong working partnerships with vendors and suppliers to secure optimal service delivery for our venues.As our ideal candidate, you will have:Extensive experience as an Operations Manager, gained in the events, hospitality, F&B or associated industries.Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site teams and steer operational excellenceProven financial and budgetary management experience.Resilience and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Excellent stakeholder relationship building, negotiation, and influencing skills.Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels.Alignment with our vision of creating remarkable experiences and core values: Fun, Leadership, Innovation, Passion, Integrity, Teamwork.Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Hospitality or similar.
