About the role Reporting to Sydney Waters Head of Network Maintenance you will be a key leader in the business, drawing from your wealth of experience, strategic thinking and whole of business focus.
Managing a large, multi-disciplinary, and geographically dispersed workforce that operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Managing a team of up to 8 direct reports over 100 indirect reports you play a key role in developing meaningful strategies that integrate across our Customer Delivery portfolio and Sydney Water.
You will provide effective leadership to field-based teams ensuring customers receive consistently high quality and reliable water, wastewater, stormwater, and recycled services, through the provision of reactive and planned maintenance services within Sydney Water's area of operation.
About you As a successful applicant you enjoy a collaborative and challenging role, with experience managing a field base tactile workforce in a large organisation, demonstrating your ability to build strong relationships with your extended teams allowing you to deliver our workforce goals future proofing Sydney Water.
Degree qualifications in Engineering / Science / Business Management or experience deemed equivalentExtensive knowledge of water industry trends and water, wastewater, and recycled water systemsExtensive experience at a senior level in managing technical issues relating to operations or maintenance of operating assets and networksDemonstrated leadership in a varied, geographically dispersed team environment and operate as part of a management teamExtensive understanding of the requirements for total quality management, including quality assurance, service assessment, continuous improvement, and environmental managementDemonstrated high level strategic thinking experience with significant impact on short-, medium- and long-term goalsPlease send through your updated resume, and as part of your application please ensure to upload your cover letter addressing the About You section of this role.
