NewCo is part of the Entireti Group.Purpose of PositionThe Head of Mortgage Broking will be responsible for our service offering in the area of retail and commercial lending, asset finance, lending referral service and money management. The successful candidate will be accountable for growing revenue through the provision of the current services and growth in the number of practices who are accessing these services.This position will be supported by the CEO, NewCo.Duties, Responsibilities and DeliverablesLead the promotion of our offering in mortgage broking, lending referral service and money management by working with our Strategic Account Managers to position our offer in a compelling way. In addition, drive the take-up practice finance in a way that grows revenue for NewCo.Manage the operational activity associated with the offers working with the Mortgage Broking Operations Manager and our key outsource partners to ensure the service is delivered in a high-quality way.Set budgets and work to grow the business on lead and lag indicators.Analyse penetration of our offer within the business and work to increase both productivity and take-up.Work with the CEO and the NewCo Leadership Team to align activities to the overarching plan in the business.Set budgets and drive growth through initiatives and activities including direct involvement to recruit new mortgage brokers.Ensure the efficient and compliant operations of the business adhering to all regulatory requirements.Evolve the strategy for the offer and present ideas and initiatives that will expand the capability for our practices.Ideal Qualifications, Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualifications in related finance degrees and/or mortgage accreditations (ie Diploma).At least three years of relevant professional experience in the residential mortgage market.Solid knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and how the industry operates.Ability to budget, set targets and deliver growth.Experience in setting strategy and delivering on initiatives.Proficiency in reporting regularly to executive level and manage expectations.Capability in drafting responses, reports, and papers for boards, forums, and committees.Ability to present at Executive meetings.Skill in influencing and motivating front line teams to support growth initiatives.Proven ability to lead a team.Positive attitude with a passion for helping others and a team-oriented mindset.Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Collaborative and adaptable working style with a growth mindset.Resilient and focused on addressing issues and strong sense of accountability.If this sounds like the role for you, please apply now to join a team who are dedicated to creating an environment that empowers our employees to thrive.You must have suitable work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
