Reporting to the Deputy Principal, the Head of Middle School (Years 7-9) is a newly created senior leadership position to support students in early adolescence, ages 11-15, to excel in their learning and, as they develop their strengths and skills, to promote wellbeing and active citizenship. This role manages all pastoral programs in the Middle Years to ensure that student welfare and personal development is of the highest standard. The successful candidate will be well informed about future directions in pastoral care, student wellbeing, curriculum and learning, particularly in the areas of learning dispositions, integrated technology, and girls' education. The Head of Middle School will lead strategic projects to ensure St Hilda's School builds on their traditional foundations and remains at the forefront of innovation in girls' education, by inspiring women and ensuring every girl reaches her full potential.
