We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join CHU in a newly redefined Head of Marketing role. This senior role works closely alongside our Head of People & Communications and Senior Leadership team, to devise and deliver on our Marketing strategy for a more complex and changing business for the future! The company now encompasses multiple brands and a growing product and service offering, across our largely B2B delivery model. The position will be offered as a permanent full-time role, working from our North Sydney office.

What your new job can look like
Our maturing marketing function now needs to influence and shape the company-wide marketing strategy, as CHU moves into a new era of complexity and opportunity across the Strata and Insurance sectors. This role provides opportunity for a highly experienced marketing professional to lead the organisational focus on marketing, supporting external customer experiences and messaging, as well as working intimately with our People function to align strategic internal communication activities to build a customer focused organisation. This new role is critical in contributing to build our market share, brand quality and customer experience, and supporting the growth of CHU.
Overall responsibilities include:
Creating strategies in consultation with the senior leadership team of CHU across all brands, planning, leading and focusing marketing activities and managing timely production and effective messaging via all communication channels.
Management of the marketing team, with direct reports in regular supervision and actively leading by providing advice, mentoring and accountability for all activities.
Manage external PR agency relationship, with proactive planning and crisis communication monitoring and action.
Manage and deepen alignment with Steadfast Marketing and Communication teams.
Brand management for all CHU entities fully explored and maximized across all channels.
Create and manage budget, ensuring on-budget, on-time delivery of all activities.
Skillfully influence and educate the business, via service line leaders, to collaboratively uplevel the use and understanding of marketing in the business.
We'd love to meet you
Especially if you can talk to us about your:
Strategic ability coupled with an ability to secure strong operational performance from a high energy, busy marketing team
Experience in PR or managing external PR agencies for both strategic communications and crisis management
Brand management experience, developing and supporting core brand and sub-brands, and working with marketing messaging as well as people and customer experience as brand.
Experience with managing change and transformation with a focus on uplifting team competencies, quality of delivery and education and influence across the business.
Success in creating clear department structure and policy and procedures including internal customer briefing rigor, sign-off processes, authority levels, and clearly defined responsibilities of team roles
Successful execution of marketing strategies for B2B products and services
