This is a 10-month parental leave contract role that will finish in November 2025.
The Head of Marketing & Digital is a critical role, sitting on the Diversified Australia Leadership Team with a broad and strategic remit that encompasses both the Marketing and Digital functions.
This role is pivotal to the organisations' success, ensuring that the development and implementation of the marketing and digital strategies aligns to the overall objectives of Diversified Australia as part of the global business.
Work closely with the Head of Product, Head of Sales and Head of Delivery to align marketing initiatives and communications with event brand strategies, sales plans and delivery logistics   Inspire and lead a high-performing team of marketers where performance is a combination of living the company values and results achieved, tied to overall business vision and strategy   Be an engaged and active member of the Leadership Team ensuring the common business goals are understood and promoted within the M&D team to drive cross-functional collaboration  Accountable for managing marketing and digital costs and investments   Maintain the funding model, budgets, and ROI for all channels including the digital channels  Lead the day-to-day operations of our Digital Department, ensuring our digital footprint and execution is the best representation of the brand across our websites and digital products  Manage and enable data flow and integration between key platforms, including CRM, CMS, EMS, event apps, online research and registration  Play a key role in the change management process, including involvement in the implementation of new marketing technology rollouts as well as supporting marketing software and user adoption  Support the marketing team in the planning, development and execution customer acquisition and demand generation strategies that are aligned to brand and commercial priorities  Develop strategies for driving customer retention by leveraging data to identify trends and opportunities for ongoing engagement  Oversee creative concept development and the preservation of brands through execution of campaign channels   Collaborate and support the marketing team to create, update, and maintain properties such as websites, registration pages and social profiles  Work with external vendors and agencies to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns, maintaining budgetary control and delivering on deadlines  About You  Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the B2B events or exhibition industry.
Proven ability to forge strong collaborative relationships; to build trust and credibility; to influence and engage; to drive for results.
Previous experience with brand marketing, campaign management, digital platforms review and execution, managing P&Ls.
Excellent people management skills with an ability to thrive under pressure.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and guiding a diverse team, including remote employees.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commercial acumen and budget management experience.
Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and evaluate budgets and business plans at a portfolio level.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
