Having expanded rapidly during the current market cycle, an unique opportunity has opened up to join the executive leadership team as the Head of Growth and Communications (HoGC).
As the HoGC, you are the brain that supercharges their success. Success from the growth perspective is measured in three key metrics: customer acquisition, customer retention and customer activation. This is a senior role that forms one of the three pillars in the executive leadership team (product, growth and operations). The successful candidate should be highly driven and be a deep thinker. You should have a sound marketing plan and the right strategy to execute on that plan. You should have a dynamic mindset and be highly alert as to the fast changing cryptocurrency industry, with the ability to adjust accordingly. You should be a quick executor and get things done on time. In addition, the successful candidate should be a bit left-field and not unfamiliar with growth hacking concepts, especially when it comes to viral marketing techniques. They should be data-driven, constantly monitoring performance vs benchmark, and act accordingly. The HoGC should be experienced in managing junior marketing staff, as well as liaising with external marketing agencies. Lastly, the successful candidate should ensure that our external communications are consistent and strong. You should do everything from overseeing the development of brand collateral to developing internal and external communications and marketing strategies. They should also liaise with the media to help the brand exposure. The successful candidate is a key part of the executive leadership team and will report directly to the founders of the business.
Requirements:
Experienced marketing leader, with more than 5 years of proven track record in a leadership role
Experience with a range of marketing platforms and tools, and is up to date with the most recent marketing techniques
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Proven track record in a regulated environment (e.g. gaming, financial services)
The ability to promote an experience, rather than a product
The ability to understand a new industry and its target audience quickly
The ability to oversee and create content that will appeal to our target audience
Be technology-savvy and have a passion for startups and fintech
Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude
Experience with cryptocurrency is a must
Highly professional and self-driven
