ANZ is a key market where Levi's brand expression needs to be best in class. For that reason, LS&Co is looking for a pioneering brand builder who has mastered the art and science of marketing. The right candidate will drive Levi's premiumisation and aspirational association through the focus on premium assortment, Style and Fashion and the creation of a differentiated aspirational marketing activation.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Directs and oversees affiliate execution and implementation of all elements of the Country Marketing Plans; ensures plans deliver against the brief and are consistent with the BVPs.
Coach and lead the ANZ marketing team.
Harmonise the ANZ marketing plan and activities (i.e. Brand, DTC, wholesale marketing) and leverage best practice from other clusters/ geos / global.
Lead and manage local execution of Consumer Marketing Programs.
Lead and manage the local team to execute Retail Marketing Programs (nationwide, retail activation, in-store marketing) in close coordination with the Brand Experience team and/or Retail Marketing Executive.
Sponsors consumer and market research to understand the brand dynamics, consumer needs and wants and market opportunities.
Leads all activities pertaining to raising brand awareness, establishing brand leadership in the marketplace and achieving excellent customer satisfaction levels (the latter being a shared accountability with retail operations) to meet targeted performance levels.
Manages internal and external relationships to create wins in marketing and promotional activities to get in-depth understanding of what is effective and not effective.
Delivers locally relevant understanding of marketplace dynamics, consumer insights, learning from previous marketing programs, to ensure plan effectiveness.
Implementation of principles of digital/ social media, CRM, public relations, media planning and sponsorships as part of the integrated marketing implementation.
Understands and applies creative media and promotional testing and measurement tools to inform plan development and assess performance.
Monitor quantitative and qualitative impact of marketing on the retail, DTC and wholesale performance.
Continuously contributes to the improvement of key marketing processes (e.g., marketing planning and communications).
Rigid monitoring of A&P budget including dilution-related items and ensuring the ROI for every marketing program implemented.
Our Ideal Candidate:
The Head of Marketing will be tertiary qualified in Marketing, Business Management or similar discipline and will have a proven ability to demonstrate the following:
Consumer Insights.
Youth Culture - ANZ and youth consumer market.
Marketing analytics and performance tracking.
Digital/ Social Media.
CRM and Membership Marketing.
Strong track record in DTC Marketing.
Advertising and Promotion.
Public Relations and Publicity.
Events management.
Strong familiarity with ecommerce marketing (Livestreaming, Search, Affiliate Marketing).
Brand Protection and Use of Trademarks.
Strong team player.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities.
Analytical and data driven mindset.
Good knowledge of operating in a matrix and global organisations.
Strong business acumen and experience with budget management.
Wholesale and DTC marketing experience.
High-level problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency and versatility with decision making.
Accountability for results and the drive for mutual success for internal and external partners.
Planning and execution: establish plans, manage and improve process, drive execution.
Drive for global leverage with an ability to challenge when appropriate.
Solid management and leadership skills with a desire to develop talent and team capabilities.
