Setting new benchmarks for pioneering technology, creating revolutionary solutions and fostering a collaborative environment have helped this Australian company flourish.The RoleThis role has overall responsibility for development and implementation of manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and ANZ service operations strategy to meet short, medium and long-term business objectives. The mid-term will see significant growth in manufacturing output and employee headcount, as they pivot to meet demand for their products.Develop and coach direct and indirect teamsProvide functional leadership for internal manufacturing, warehousing, manufacturing engineering and service staffEnsure devices are manufactured and serviced in accordance with time, quality, safety and cost requirementsManage the implementation of changes and new products into productionWork closely with the Research & Development team, ensuring new products and design changes are implemented effectively and efficientlyDrive continuous improvement, cost and process optimisation activitiesSkills and ExperienceAt least 10 years' experience in a broad-based manufacturing management role, ideally within the medical devices space. Individuals from other highly regulated industries sectors would be welcomed, i.e. consumer, automotive, pharma etc.A demonstrated ability to lead teams of different levels and capabilities to build an outcomes-focused, collegiate cultureStrong commercial focus and the ability to manage up to Senior Management levelExperience with implementing NPI and transfer of technologyWorking knowledge of ERP and related business systems implementationWorking knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Lean principlesDegree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing or related disciplinePersonal Attributes:Capable of thriving in a dynamic and evolving businessAbility to lead through ambiguity, complexity and organisational changeA seasoned people leader able to lead, coach and develop managersA high level of creativity and strong problem-solving skillsStrong communication and influencing skillsN.B.
