Helping Australia Compete .The Head of Manufacturing is a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, responsible for manufacturing, engineering/maintenance, associated warehousing, and procurement of raw materials.Key Focus Areas:
Providing cross-functional leadership across manufacturing and maintenance/engineering departments, as well as to manufacturing business partners including HSEQ, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams.Develop, implement, and review monthly an annual manufacturing plan aligned with our 3-year strategy and annual manufacturing requirements.Minimum Requirements:
We welcome applicants with keen commercial acumen and demonstrated capability for production, quality, cost, and safety management within a medium to large business environment.The successful applicant will ideally possess:
Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a manufacturing-related qualification highly regarded.10+ years' experience in operational management with a significant background in high volume manufacturing and/or engineering environments.An ability to analyse and interpret financial & production data, supported by an understanding of the relationship between key financial indicators and root causes of problems.An understanding of Quality, Safety, and Sustainability accreditations within a production environment is highly desirable.Experience using ERP systems.Sound working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.Benefits:
