In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure that system, processes and plans are in place to effectively manage key assets through the daily and weekly plan. You will also be responsible for the maintenance management system for all planned maintenance activities ensuring the cost control methods are in place.About the role:In this role you will:Promote a positive safety culture, actively supports site safety initiatives, standards and procedures, ensuring full compliance in day-to-day operations and shut down situations.Be responsible for ensuring maintenance plans are effectively managed to deliver environmental compliance and safety requirements.Ensure own and delegates' internal auditing and close out actions are delivered on time.Develop a technically competent, motivated, functional and cohesive Maintenance Planning teamDevelop team succession plans, harness the talents of high performers and promote opportunities for developmentEnsure systems, processes and plans are in place to effectively manage kiln and cement milling shortstopsEnsure the SAP maintenance management system is maintained for all planned maintenance activities to reflect the schedule and resource requirements within the overall integrated maintenance plan. Ensure relevant work orders are generated, processed and closed outIdentify opportunities for optimising plant and planning processes, continuous improvement and maximising value of maintenance spendActively support development and delivery of maintenance budget, ensuring cost control methods are in place for shutdown deliveryUtilise the planning process to deliver cost effective work packaging and a sustainable long-term inventory reductionEnsure plan attainment and other planning KPI's are met or exceededEnsure work delivery continually balances safety/cost/time/resources for successful outcomesEnsure ACR (Approved Contractor Register) Compliance (Audits up to date etc)Monitor and track vendor/contractor performance during the execution of planned works and provide feedback to the Contract Owner.Be responsible to maintain financial, progress and productivity status reports of the weekly planBe responsible to maintain a planning backlog to zero (no work in the past) and report on adherence to planEnsure all statutory requirements for maintenance of pressure vessels, fire protection systems, cranes etc are maintained.About you:Strong leadership and team building skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite Skills, particularly Microsoft projectFull understanding of SAP maintenances, systems and processesAdvanced knowledge of budget setting, tracking and forecastingProven heavy industrial maintenance and planning experience in a leadership roleExperience in managing a functional teamWhy work for Cement Australia?Australia's largest and most respected cement manufacturerEngaged, collaborative and diverse teamA reimbursement of up to $1000 for Yaralla or your annual gym membership; ORAbout us:An icon of the Australian cement industry, Cement Australia is the nation's leading supplier of cementitious products and services.
