An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Wealth Management Business and the leadership team. About the Role Join our dynamic team at Wealth Management ! As a Head of Legal , you will: Provide Legal Advisory; provide expert and strategic legal advice to the CEO, senior management, and the Board of Directors. Manage Legal Risk; identify, assess, and manage legal risks affecting the company. Enterprise Leadership; lead and manage the Legal and Company Secretariat team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. About You We're looking for someone with: A degree in Law and current NSW practicing certificate or admission to practice as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction. 15+ years' experience as a senior lawyer, preferably with considerable experience leading a team. Extensive experience providing advice in relation to financial services law. Proven track record in managing corporate governance and company secretarial functions (desirable). Experience negotiating general commercial agreements including custody administration and investment management agreements. Experience in handling complex legal matters and providing strategic legal advice. Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law, and regulatory requirements. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
