Salary: Level 3, $132,143 - $144,601 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025. Wanneroo SC is seeking an innovative Head of Learning Area (HOLA) committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students in the Mathematics Learning Area.
The capacity to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Mathematics at all levels is highly regarded. In addition, the successful applicant should have the capacity to lead Mathematics curriculum and support the mathematics team to achieve excellent educational outcomes with students at all levels of achievement.
As a member of the senior management group, the Mathematics HOLA will ideally support whole school initiatives including the implementation of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and the Wanneroo SC Teaching and Learning Framework.
The successful applicant will ideally lead an enthusiastic, energetic Mathematics team with high levels of support from the executive team. We are seeking an applicant with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful applicant should also have the capacity to use data to inform practice and the capacity to support pro-social behaviours.
