They should have high expectations of themselves and their team and be able to display their understanding of their role as a key member of the College Senior Leadership Team.The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience as a teacher of ATAR English, as well as being flexible and adaptive to develop staff in using strategies in differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. An ability and experience in teaching across all year levels from Years 7 to 12 is desirable.A major focus of the College is also the implementation of Explicit Instruction across all learning areas. Experience leading Explicit Instruction in the classroom is not a prerequisite for this position, but the successful applicant must display a willingness to incorporate this into their teaching practice.
